The platform is designed for people who want to obtain an overview of the overall energy system. The platform contains knowledge surrounding the different types of energy forms and the different types of technologies that converts one type of energy to another or convert energy into energy services.

The platform is also designed for people who are looking for data in specific countries and municipalities, whom also have an interest in projecting the energy accounts to achieve special CO2 targets.

The first version of the platform has been developed in a collaboration between Insero and Strategirummet. The current version has been developed in a collaboration between the Municipalities of Kolding, Middelfart, Vejle and Fredericia, TVIS Net, EWII, Illumi and Strategirummet. The project is backed by the Danish Ministry of Energy, Supply and Climate.

The platform is part of the e2g platform, which is owned by Strategirummet.
